Femininely Fit®

Femininely Fit® is a women’s pelvic fitness class instructed by a licensed physical therapist who specializes in women’s health and is very passionate about pelvic floor health. This class is designed to help women strengthen their pelvic floor and lower abdominals as well as learn how to exercise in a safe manner that does not put unnecessary stress on their pelvic floor and pelvic organs. There is typically a topic of discussion during each class on various research articles and publications focusing on the pelvic floor as well as general education on healthy pelvic and bladder habits. Most of the exercises can be modified to be safe yet challenging to women of various fitness levels. However, it is a prerequisite that you MUST BE ABLE TO GET ON AND OFF THE FLOOR WITH EASE. This class is available to women who are having a healthy pregnancy with a doctor’s note only. This class offers a fun, relaxed atmosphere where women can get a great workout (without sweating J), openly discuss some embarrassing topics that many women experience, and learn tips and information that are useful for maintaining a healthy pelvic floor.
