UROGYN News

Arielle M. Allen, DO
I am a Urogynecology fellow at OU.  Throughout my medical training, I have never experienced such a commitment to patient care as is here at the University of Oklahoma. The OU faculty, staff, fellows, residents and medical students are composed of individuals dedicated to providing the best possible patient care. Since beginning fellowship in 2009, I benefit every day from this commitment, knowing that I will graduate having completed some of the finest medical training available.

My medical training began at the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where I chose to pursue a career in women’s health.  I completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa. While in residency training, I discovered my interest in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery (FPMRS).  Being accepted into the FPMRS fellowship here at OU has allowed me to continue my pursuit towards a career in women’s health. I cannot imagine being trained to do anything else.  I am devoted to providing top quality medical care and improving the lives of women in need of urogynecologic care. I could not do this if it wasn’t for the education that I receive at OU.
